DAVE TUCKER Dave began his film career in 2004, writing and directing 4 art breaks for MTV Europe. That same year he went on to direct music promos for both Atlantic and Island Records, which were selected for the ‘Mirrorball Performance’ at the 2004 Edinburgh Film Festival. 2005, he made his first short film, entitled ‘Stick Guns’, gaining a distribution deal with Shorts International, It premiered at the 2006 Los Angeles Film Festival, and screened at Longbaugh Film Fest, OneDotZero (ICA) and won the ‘Columbine Award’ at the 2006 Moondance festival, Los Angeles. 2006, his second short film entitled 'Bowl Cut', was funded by the UK Film Council and Film London, premiered at the 2006 Edinburgh International Film Festival, and also screened at The Times BFI London Film Festival, Short Encounters, Palm Springs and The Hamptons International Festivals. 2007, Documentary entitled ‘Johnny Congo’, commissioned by Channel 4 as part of MORE 4 ‘First Cut’ series, produced in conjunction with Pulse Films and Killing Ants. |
